John Paul Lodge is named after John Paul Jones, an avid believer in the Snowbasin concept, who lost his life in World War II before he could ever see the realization of his dream of the mountain.
John Paul Lodge is your quick escape from anything ordinary with one of the most uniquely built and situated mountain lodges on earth. Beautiful, panoramic views, of Ogden Valley, Mount Ogden, Morgan, and the start houses for the Olympic downhill courses, are just one of the many features of this truly incredible lodge.
Imagine dining on Belgian Waffles in the morning or lunch items that include featured chili chosen by guests, hardwood fired hearth pizza, fresh hot soups, delectable sandwiches, grilled meats and fresh salads, while being serenaded by the crackling, roaring, and center of the room fireplace while mesmerized by the stunning valley and Mount Ogden views.
One fourteen-minute lift ride is all it takes. Dining both inside and out located at the top of the John Paul Lift. Dining is available for foot passengers and beginner skiers as you can download the lift.
Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides support for adaptive snowsports programs held at Snowbasin.
