We've all been there. Trying to find a parking place in a busy lot or simply looking for a convenient place to drop the family off before parking. No one likes to spend time worrying about where they'll park before a day on the slopes, so we've done our research to make your resort arrival a bit easier. Before we dive into parking, here are a few tips to avoid parking altogether.
Carpool with others
If you are wanting to save on a parking fee or the headache of taking your own car, but your pals aren’t readily available to head to the resort, try out one of the many carpooling apps like Waze Carpool.

Alta will be releasing advanced parking reservations starting in late October and will release parking spaces every Sunday afternoon during the winter season. Learn more about Alta's Paid Parking here.

Parking at Snowbird frequently fills up, so the best choice is to secure your spot is through a paid reservation. Snowbird offers a variety of parking options, from their Preferred Parking Pass and valet to $25 parking reservations and free first-come parking. Snowbird hopes to once again make carpooling a priority for vehicles with 4+ passengers by providing expanded carpool-only parking areas at all the entry points. Solitude Mountain Resort
Solitude charges for parking at all of their lots. The cost of parking will be completely dependent on how many passengers you have in your vehicle. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect to pay for parking this season.Vehicles with 4+ occupants: Free parking all season long! Go carpoolers!
Vehicles with 3 occupants: Free Monday through Thursday. $10 parking Friday through Sunday and holidays/peak periods.
Vehicles with 2 occupants: $10 parking Monday through Thursday. $25 parking Friday through Sunday and holidays/peak periods.
Vehicles with 1 occupant: $20 parking Monday through Thursday. $35 Friday through Sunday and holidays/peak periods.
